They first discussed when they met; they were young, naive, and trusting, in particular of humans who fed them.

The dog, chickens, and pig walked into a bar. The dog and pig sat on the bar stool, and the chicken sat on the counter.

As they grew into adulthood, reality set in about trusting others.

And, in particular, human beings.

The pig ordered a bucket of slop and a gallon of beer

The dog ordered five large bones and a quart of beer.

The chickens ordered a small bowl of mash grain and a small beer.

They all sat around discussing multiculturalism and how their backgrounds made no difference in their friendships. They enjoyed each other s company and loved to hang out.

As time passed, they all got a bit tipsy from the beer. More time passed, to the point of the pig and dog drooling.

A Chicken Sitting on the counter said how funny it was that they all get along.  The Chicken also cautioned the other animals never to trust

Human beings.

The chicken said, Humans are the only species on the earth that can befriend an animal, become affectionate, then stab the animal in the heart without warning and eat it for dinner.
