I love to cook.  But when I cook, I cook big, huge, grande, mucho.  I can feast for a few days, pass out a bunch to friends, and still freeze a bunch, which lasts for months.

Nothing is better than a large bowl of chili, a good hot dog with mustard, and a few beers.  It is far better than going out to a fancy restaurant.

All the ingredients are fresh except for two large cans of tomato paste for coloring. I use 20 different beans, sometimes beef or ground dark turkey meat.

I made about 3 gallons.  I freeze it and occasionally pull out a container, experiencing exuberant delight.  It tastes just as good after warming up in a saucepan as it did on the first day.

Sometimes, I add avocado, four kinds of grated cheese, and fresh white grated onion.

I make a similar ham and bean soup recipe, but not in large quantities.
