It's like when you see your buddy and he looks like he's been through the wringer, you know, like he's had a tough time or a rough experience.

It's like riding a horse hard and then sticking it back in the stall without giving it a chance to cool down or dry off. Just like this isn't good for the horse, it's unsuitable for anyone. We all need a cool-down period to catch our breath and process. If you skip this step, you're putting yourself away wet, a big no-no in the equestrian world and life.
