Summary:
The elite regulators never contemplated a crossroads moment because they were so conditioned to assuming that they would never run out of spending other people's money, with the backstop of issuing fiat currencies. If we cannot extort enough money from the taxpaying public, we will create it within the Federal Reserve System.
Fat cat bureaucrats never thought their racketeering enterprise would explode and there would be a call to drain the swamp. However, the only person in our adult lives who is strong enough not to be bought off is Donald J. Trump. Our new President is backed by a highly skilled administration (cabinet warriors) and the temporary Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) posse.
The entire executive administration is on a mission to uncover the waste, fraud, and abuse in the racketeering enterprise, where everyone was on someone's payroll, and the goodies just kept coming. Whether it was for employees, government agencies, GSEs, NGOs, grants, institutions, contractors, foundations, think tanks, or USAID, money was sloshed around.
Article:
Racketeering refers to a pattern of engaging in illegal activities disguised as a legitimate enterprise with the primary goal of profiting. The activities are coordinated efforts to repeatedly earn profits and disguised benefits through fraudulent, extortionist, and violent means. In a police state, there are numerous enforcers who all benefit from the criminal system.
The members are elites with a monopoly status and operate within a veil of secrecy. Their activities evade the defined Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) due to coordinated, coercive, and fraudulent practices disguised as legitimate and protected. Protections include enforcers, nonstop official propaganda, gaslighting, and Mafia-like persecution of anyone who questions their actions.
At the top of the food chain was Joe Biden, feeding off the troff. When he was close to being caught, he would rely on the Old Joe, To Feable To Be Prosecuted game. While the major players circled him, making billions, old Joe was able to rake off a few million for his family.
The Democrat Party is at a crossroads. It has become a gigantic grift machine, along with its NGOs, no-profits, institutions like public education, and paid activist adgitators and enforcers. They desperately need fresh leadership to shed the so entrenched illegitimacy of their enterprise. John F. Kennedy would not recognize his party today. My hope for the country's sake is that fresh new leadership will arrive and rescue their sinking ship before they entirely collapse into the dustbin of political history, like the Mugwumps. The Mugwumps famously switched parties from the Republican to the Democratic Party and remained independent for about a decade before disintegrating. A Mugwump has its mug on one side and its wump on the other, meaning it has crossed the line of political affiliation. This fresh leadership could be the beacon of hope for a much-needed and achievable change.
The radicalized left whips up lawfare, hate, and violence to stop the Trump agenda, which includes policies and initiatives aimed at reforming the government and reducing bureaucracy. They are highly organized, with more than 140 federal court cases aimed at halting or delaying progress. Trump is making slow progress, accompanied by significant delays that amount to tens of billions of dollars. The Democratic Party, rather than reinventing itself into something new and fresh, has chosen to double down, fight change, and maintain the status quo of a known grift machine.
The country's impact is substantial with America's ever-expanding federal, state, and local government bureaucracy. Since public employees gained the right to collective bargaining under Lyndon Johnson, they have become an increasingly powerful force, representing only themselves and their agendas. The addition of a massive trade deficit and the injection of 11 million fresh illegal immigrants who are instantly allowed to access public assistance and Social Security has put us on a path of massive deficit spending of 3.5 trillion annually, and rising. This could lead to the country's collapse, similar to the collapse of the Soviet Union, a future that should deeply concern us all.
The Marxist utopian overlords, a metaphor for those in power who promote socialist or communist ideals, overruled the ideas of individualism and self-sufficiency. Few noticed or cared, as now 70% of the population receives government transfer payments. Public employees can retire early and enjoy a fat pension for 30 years without the same pressure cooker encumbrances as private employees. A notable example is in Washington, D.C., where 90% of workers have yet to return from their 5-year COVID-19-related absences, also known as remote work arrangements. This has led to over 7,000 federal buildings standing almost vacant.
There are approximately 22 million public employees in the United States, including those employed by federal, state, and local governments, and approximately 40 million retired. The actual numbers are a guarded secret. Most individuals are eligible to receive both federal pensions and Social Security benefits. Cutting the size of the entire apparatus in half would be a start and would not adversely affect performance.
Until then, American Enterprise will continue to exist as one giant Ponzi scheme, underscoring the pressing and urgent need for reform.
