Summary:

The original script of A Few Good Men was “You already have the truth.” But Jack Nicholson ad-libbed to “You Can’t Handle The Truth,” a powerful statement that resonated with viewers and inspired a new perspective on the power of truth.

The question of truth is more pressing than ever.  Can the public handle the truth about government corruption, such as all of the fraud and misappropriations of trillions of tax dollars that the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), a government oversight body, is uncovering? These issues are now confronting us directly. It's as if a Wall Street Journal has been dropped on our front porch, demanding our attention and action about the choice of truths vs. living in our world of illusions.

“There may be little, perhaps nothing, on the earth more precious than the truth.” This truth, once uncovered, has the power to inspire change and hold those in power accountable. It's a force that can empower the public, instilling a sense of hope and determination to demand transparency and justice.

Article:

Over my long adult life, I have witnessed values, institutions, and the government go from transparency to a concerning level of secretive and deviant behavior and defiance of consequences. As a powerful authority and established rule, the government has usurped rational arguments for actions and been against them. Defiance by objectors only led to repercussions of cancellation and persecution.

On one end of the spectrum rests a democracy that is transparent about its activities and takes action to represent the people, primarily the taxpaying public. On the other end is a government that operates with monopoly status in complete secrecy, representing only itself while exploiting the taxpayers to the point of open tyranny. The latter serves as a police state monitoring the popular for compliance and squashing any obstructionists of its radicalized agenda. The latter hires enforcers, the mainstream media, social media, non-governmental institutions (NGOs), and institutions to cancel and persecute objectors.

Over time, we have witnessed deviancy on a downward trajectory as the government has become more intrusive and hostile toward the public. Each new generation grows up with the frame of reference that it is normal because they have never experienced anything else.

Now, the organized criminal cabal is being unraveled with the crucial assistance of the public. It's a testament to the power of collective action and the determination to no longer live in a society of lies and illusions. We are all part of this fight, and our actions are not just making a difference but are integral to the process.

Government fraud and deception, such as the recent scandal involving USAID and fraudulent Social Security payments, are exposed daily, and there is no possibility of going back. The public has had enough; this exposure gives us hope for a more transparent future, instilling a sense of optimism in our collective efforts.

The first 100 days of the Trump administration will define the direction of this country for an entire generation. These initial days are crucial as they set the tone for the administration's policies and actions. So far, with the first 500 executive orders, we will get our country back with high transparency.
